Find New Markets for Commerce


Make a list of WHERE people were trading, WHAT they were trading, and WHO traders were trading with.

The pioneers were trading with the native Indians that lived there, they traded beads and animal skins, they were trading on the road to the west.

Pioneers were trading with the native people that lived there. They traded on their roadway west. Something of the items that were traded included animal skins and beads.

People often traded at places like the Santa Fe Trail and Mexican Province of New Mexico. People traded cloths, knifes, and guns. They traded with other people on the Santa Fe Trail.

People were trading on the west coast of the Pacific, on the plains with the Indians and other traders and along the Missouri River. They were also trading in Santa Fe. People traded guns, cloth, weapons, silver, fur and gold. Traders were trading with Mexicans.
