Locate Harbors on the Pacific
What was the purpose of locating harbors on the Pacific? What were traders hoping to achieve? Cite two examples.
The Americans wanted to find the Pacific Ocean because that could open trade routes and enemies could come to the U.S. from the Pacific Ocean in the west and attack us. Traders achieved to find the Pacific Ocean for trade routes
I think that Americans were interested in moving west because the population in the 13 colonies was growing which means that more houses and industries were going up and the farm land was decreasing. Also Americans were living a dirty life style like throwing their trash out on the streets.
One purpose of finding the harbors in the pacific could’ve been to open up trade routes. Another could’ve been to open up the waters for easier transportation. The traders were hoping to achieve finding new harbors for trading and possibly easier transportation.
The purpose of opening harbors on the Pacific Ocean was so that Americans could have trade routes. Americans achieved to find the Pacific Ocean for trade routes. They also achieved better ways for transportation.
The purpose of locating harbors on the Pacific was that it was a national border. The traders were hoping to achieve full security and safety. For example if another country was going to attack the harbors it would be good security.
